Covering Flux For Aluminum Alloy Casting

Reference dosage:

Calculate and weigh according to the area of 0.5-1.0kg/m ² molten aluminum, calculate and weigh according to the weight of 0.2%-0.4% molten aluminum. And depending on the purity of the melt and the humidity in the air, whether to increase or decrease.

Instructions:

The aluminum alloy flux of covering flux is used to prevent aluminum oxidation, for inner furnace covering, lowing oxidation and burning loss. 

When impure materials and non-metallic inclusions are washed out by the covering agent, the form of the slag on the surface is either paste or liquid, depending on the amount of covering agent added.

In order to keep the liquid surface completely covered, it is necessary to add the covering agent several times. It is best to add it when the metal starts to melt.After the metal is completely melted and kept standing still, a covering agent should be applied to protect the melt.

The main advantage:

1. It can form a dense protective layer and reduce the inflow of gas.

2 Reduce the metal loss caused by the oxidation of the liquid surface.

3 It has the advantages of moderate melting point, good fluidity and good coverage.

4 The consumption is less, the cost is low, and the metal content in the formed slag is very low.

Packaging and storage:

Corrugated box/woven bag packaging: 2.5-10kg per inner bag, 20-50kg per box. Proper storage, pay attention to moisture.
