In the process of smelting and heat preservation of aluminum and aluminum alloys, the temperature control of molten aluminum and molten aluminum is the main factor to ensure the quality of aluminum products. It can avoid oxidation caused by overburning of molten aluminum and molten aluminum, thereby saving power consumption.For casting of molten aluminum and molten aluminum,the temperature is usually about 720°C. In order to ensure that the aluminum liquid and aluminum water are kept at this temperature, the aluminum liquid aluminum water thermocouple plays a key role as a temperature sensor directly inserted into the aluminum liquid and aluminum water to measure the temperature.

First of all, an understanding of liquid aluminum, liquid metal aluminum is very active, the permeability of aluminum atoms is strong, and it is very corrosive to metals. The oxide film interlayer contains a large number of hydrogen atoms, which can easily adhere to the surface of solid metal and corrode solid metal.

Based on the above reasons, it is very critical for the aluminum liquid and aluminum water temperature measurement thermocouple to use a material that is resistant to the corrosion of aluminum liquid and aluminum water as a thermocouple protection tube. The iron-based alloy thermocouple protection tube or Si3N4 combined SiC thermocouple protection tube,use high-performance armored thermocouples as temperature sensing elements. It has high strength, strong corrosion resistance, short thermal response time, long service life and continuous temperature measurement for 24 hours.

The protection tube is made of stainless steel by default. For long-term measurement above 800 degrees, it is recommended that the protection tube can be customized with 2520 material, GH3030 and GH3039 material, and anti-corrosion can be customized with 316L material. It is recommended to use 2.0mm or 2.5mm for even wire diameter above 800℃. The single-layer protective tube can be used for temperature measurement of smoke furnace, and the addition of silicon carbide can be used for temperature measurement of metal solution.

The inner tube is made of stainless steel, and the outer tube can be equipped with a silicon carbide protection tube, which is recrystallized silicon carbide. The exterior of the double-layer casing is impact-resistant and corrosion-resistant. It is mainly used in metallurgy, chemical industry, and non-ferrous metal smelting. It is especially suitable for temperature measurement of molten aluminum and copper. Because of its high density, it will not be eroded by molten aluminum during temperature measurement; it has good thermal shock resistance, insulation and oxidation resistance, wear resistance and high temperature resistance, and long service life.
