Aluminum profile industry extrusion operation instructions (Medium)

3.4 Interruption operating procedures:
3.4.1 When the extruder discharges the material, clamp the material head with the tractor, turn on the cooling fan at the same time, and turn on the water cooling system for the profiles that require water cooling.
3.4.2 Use an saw to cut off about 1250px of the material head, and write down the mold number to collect it for reference by the mold repairman.
3.4.3 If the material is discharged normally, use an interruption saw to cut off a profile of about 1250px and hand it over to the quality inspector for quality inspection.
3.4.4 The machine operator cuts the rod to length according to the required length of the production schedule, and cuts the rod according to the length of the extruded profile.
3.4.5 After the profile is interrupted, use asbestos gloves to gently hold it and push it to the cooling table.
3.4.6 Check the quality, especially the first and second rods. At last the surface quality of every 3-5 rods should be checked.

3.5 Interruption process requirements:
3.5.1 The discharging air cooling speed shall not be lower than 110℃/minute.
3.5.2 When sawing materials, be careful to press lightly and advance the saw and materials synchronously to prevent the profile from bending.
3.5.3 When pushing the material, handle it with care to avoid artificial scratches and scratches on the material table.
3.5.4 When sawing materials, be sure to hold the profile with your hands to prevent the profile from swinging and causing scratches.

3.6 Interruption precautions:
3.6.1 When towing, it is strictly forbidden to extend your head and the operator’s hand directly towards the discharge port to prevent danger.
3.6.2 When turning on the interrupt saw, the operator cannot face the interrupt saw directly, and no one is allowed to approach within 750px of the saw blade to ensure safety.
3.6.3 Pay attention to the discharge path to prevent the material table from pressing against the profile.
3.6.4 Pay attention to safety and be careful of burns.
3.6.5 Pay attention to twisting when discharging the profile.

3.7 Stretching operating procedures:
3.7.1 Check whether there is oil leakage in the hydraulic system and whether the air pressure is normal.
3.7.2 Check the conveyor belt, cooling table, and storage table for damage and scratches on the profiles.
3.7.3 Before stretching, confirm the length of the profile, then predetermine the stretching rate, and determine the stretching length, which is the moving position of the main chuck. Usually the stretching rate of 6063 is 0.5%-1%, and the stretching rate of 6061 is 0.8%-1.5%.
3.7.4 Confirm the clamping method according to the shape of the profile. As hollow profiles with human cross-sections, the tensile pads can be widened, but try to ensure sufficient clamping area.
3.7.5 When the profile is cooled to below 50°C, it can be stretched.
3.7.6 When the profile has both curved surfaces and twists, the twists should be corrected first and then the bends should be pulled.
3.7.7 Conduct a test pull on the first and second pieces to confirm whether the predetermined stretch rate and clamping method are appropriate. Visually bend, twist, and check the plane clearance, flaring, and opening of the profile. If it is not suitable, adjust the stretching rate appropriately.
3.7.8 When the normal stretch rate and bending, twisting cannot be eliminated, or the geometric dimensions cannot be qualified, notify the operator to stop extrusion.
3.7.9 The profiles on the cooling table must not rub, collide, overlap or stack with each other to prevent scratches.

3.8 Stretching process requirements:
3.8.1 The cooling temperature of the profile is ≤50℃.
3.8.2 There should be a certain distance between profile materials to prevent mutual scratches.
3.8.3 When stretching, the clamping directions of both ends should be consistent. After the tail clamp is clamped, the main clamp can be stretched.
3.8.4 After the main chuck is unloaded and before the jaws are opened, the main chuck must not return.
